Fire engines at the ready.
Trained veterans of the art
Of fighting fires
On their toes,

And dedicated,
To saving lives.

The alert sounds,
And the heroes rush
To the scene.

Another devastating failure.
The entire block has been incinerated,
At the cost of many innocent lives…

When will you learn, my good firemen?
It’s not always best
To fight fire
With fire.
